Sometimes an AI video does not generate, or it stops before it is ready. This article helps you find the cause and try again. You can create AI videos in AI Playground and in the AI Video Generator, on the Picsart website and in the Picsart app.
What does the message mean?
When a video fails, AI Playground shows a message and a Retry button. Retry sends the video again with the same prompt and settings.
- Content restrictions: The model did not accept your prompt or your image. Change your prompt or your image, then try again.
- Taking longer than expected: The video took too long. Select Retry.
- Too many requests: You sent many videos in a short time. Wait a moment, then try again.
- Service temporarily unavailable: The service has a temporary problem. Wait a few minutes, then try again.
- Connection error: Your internet connection stopped. Check your connection, then try again.
- No result returned: The generation ended, but no video came back. Select Retry.
Web: After a failed video, Retry can suggest a different model. The button shows the credit cost before you select it.
For messages about blocked prompts and credits, read How to understand user-friendly error messages in AI Playground.
Can I close the page while my video generates?
Yes. In AI Playground, your video continues to generate when you close the page or the app. When the video is ready, AI Playground shows the message Your creation is ready! You can find the video in your Creations.
Do I get my credits back?
If a video fails, the credits come back to your balance automatically. Most credits return quickly. Sometimes they take up to 24 hours. If the credits did not come back after 24 hours, please contact us. We are happy to check it for you. To learn more, read Where did my credits go?
