Manage Drive files and generation credits in Picsart Capture & Create

Updated

Picsart Capture & Create uses your Picsart account for Drive saves and online creation. Capturing or previewing media does not start an AI generation.

Choose where files are saved

  1. Check the connected Picsart account and destination folder in the extension.
  2. Select Change to choose a Drive folder. Use Use page folder to return to the automatically named folder for the source page.
  3. Review the selected media and approve the transfer when prompted. Wait for the save confirmation before using the file elsewhere.

Changing the destination affects new work. It does not move existing files. A recording or generation already in progress keeps the folder chosen when it started. If you change folders after preparing a generation quote, review the new quote before approving it.

Understand uploads and generation approval

Preparing an image reference can upload it to Picsart before you approve generation. Review the reference and any upload notice first. Uploading a reference is not confirmation that a generation completed or that a generated result was saved.

Write or edit your prompt, choose a model and settings, then review the displayed credit quote. Generation starts only after your separate approval. Video descriptions are entered manually; selecting a video does not automatically analyze it.

When the price is unavailable

If your extension offers Continue without price, choosing it prepares the request without an exact quote. A separate Generate and accept unknown charge confirmation authorizes the actual credit charge, which is not known in advance. This is not a free generation. You can cancel instead and try again when a price is available.

Plans and additional credits

Use your standard Picsart account. Review Pro and Ultra monthly or yearly plans at Picsart pricing. You can also purchase credits separately from a subscription. Check the balance and terms shown for your account; installing or reconnecting the extension does not create an extra credit allowance.

Find a result or resolve an unknown outcome

  1. Check History for the job and any error or support job ID.
  2. Open Picsart Drive in the same account and check the folder selected when the job started. A reference upload and a generated result are different files.
  3. If the outcome remains unknown, contact support before submitting the same generation again. Do not treat a timeout as proof that nothing was generated or charged.

Disconnecting or removing the extension

Files already saved to Picsart Drive remain after you cancel generation, disconnect or uninstall. Manage those files in Drive separately. Save any needed local recording before closing the workspace or disconnecting.

Contact Picsart Support with your browser version, extension version, the steps you took and the exact error. Include the support job ID if one is shown. Remove private information from screenshots and never send passwords or access tokens.
