The AI Image Generator creates images from a text description. This article explains how to use it in the Picsart app and on the website.
How do I create an image in the Picsart app?
- Open the editor. Open the Picsart app and start a new project.
- Open the tool. Tap More tools, then tap AI Image Generator.
- Describe your image. Type your prompt. For the best results, be specific.
- Choose a style. Select one or more styles.
- Generate. Tap Generate images and wait for your images.
The steps can be slightly different in some app versions.
How do I create an image on the website?
On the Picsart website, you create images from text in AI Playground. Type your prompt and generate your images there.
Does the AI Image Generator use credits?
Yes. Each generation uses credits. The cost depends on the tool and the settings you choose. To learn more, read What are credits and how do they work?
Can other users edit my AI images?
Your images are not marked #FreeToEdit when you generate them. When you share an image on Picsart, it can be marked #FreeToEdit. Other Picsart users can then remix and edit it. In the Picsart app, you can turn this option off on the Share screen before you post.
