Picsart has tools to add sound to your projects. You can create a voiceover from text, and you can add music to your videos. This article explains how to use them.
How do I create a voiceover from text?
You can create voiceovers in AI Playground on the Picsart website.
- Open AI Playground. Open AI Playground on the Picsart website and choose voiceover.
- Enter your script. Type the text you want the voice to say.
- Choose a voice. Select a voice that fits the mood of your content. You can listen to a preview first.
- Generate. Generate your audio and download it.

How do I make my voiceover sound natural?
- Use punctuation. A comma makes a short pause. A period makes a longer pause.
- Keep sentences short. Short sentences sound more natural.
- Spell words as they sound. If the voice says a word wrong, write it the way it sounds, for example "Pics-art".
How do I add music to a video?
- Open your video. Open your video in the Picsart video editor.
- Open Audio. Select the Audio tool.
- Choose music. Browse the music library by genre or mood, or use search.
- Or use your own music. Select Upload to add an audio file from your device.
Some tracks are premium and are marked with a badge. You need a Picsart subscription to use them. Some versions of the app and the website also let you create music with the AI Music Generator.
Can I use the music outside Picsart?
