Edit with AI lets you change your photo with a short text description. You write what you want, for example "Change the background to a snowy mountain", and AI edits your photo.
How do I use Edit with AI in the app?
- Open your photo. Open the Picsart app, tap the plus (+) sign and select your photo.
- Open Edit with AI. In the editor, tap the Edit with AI button.
- Describe the change. Type what you want to change. For the best results, be specific.
- Generate. Start the generation and wait for your result.
- Apply. If you like the result, apply it and continue to edit or save your photo.
Some versions of the app also show Edit with AI in Retouch. The steps can be slightly different in some app versions.
How is Edit with AI different from other AI tools?
Edit with AI makes many types of changes from one text description. Some tools do one specific task:
- To change one area or object, use AI Replace.
- To make a new background, use AI Background.
- To sharpen a blurry photo, use AI Enhance.
How do I write a good prompt?
- Say what to change and how. For example, write "change the hair color to purple" and not "change hair".
- Make one change at a time. Then add the next change.
Does Edit with AI use credits?
Yes. Each generation uses credits. The app shows the cost before you generate. To learn more, read What are credits and how do they work?
