This article helps you when you cannot download, install or update the Picsart app, or when an export or download does not work on the Picsart website. If the app crashes or freezes after you open it, read Troubleshooting app crashes and freezing in Picsart.
What do I need to install Picsart?
- iPhone and iPad: iOS or iPadOS 15.0 or later
- Android: Android 6.0 or later
- Website: The latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge on a computer
You also need enough free storage on your device and a stable internet connection.
The app does not install or update on my iPhone or iPad
- Check your iOS version. Go to Settings, then General, then Software Update. If your device runs a version older than iOS 15.0, update it first.
- Free up storage. Delete apps, photos or files you do not use.
- Check your connection. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, then try again.
- Restart your device. Turn your device off and on, then try the App Store again.
- Reinstall the app. Go to Settings, then General, then iPhone Storage. Select Picsart, tap Offload App, then tap Reinstall App.
The app does not install or update on my Android device
- Update from Google Play. Open the Google Play Store, search for Picsart and tap Update if you see it.
- Free up storage. Delete apps, files or photos you do not use, or move files to external storage or a cloud service.
- Clear the cache. Open Settings, select Apps, then Picsart. Tap Storage, then Clear Cache. If the problem continues, tap Clear Data. This resets the app settings and can remove unsaved work, so save your projects first.
- Reinstall the app. Uninstall Picsart, restart your device, then install Picsart again from Google Play. If you installed Picsart from another source before, uninstall that version first.
- Update your Android system. Open Settings, go to Software update and install any available update.
The names of the settings can be different on your device.
My export or download does not work on the website
- Use a supported browser. Use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge on a computer.
- Allow downloads. Make sure your browser allows downloads from picsart.com. Turn off ad blockers or browser extensions that can block downloads.
- Try another format. If a format does not work, try JPG or PNG for images, or MP4 for videos.
- Check your connection. Use a stable internet connection and try again.
- Make large files smaller. If a large video does not export, try again, or choose a lower resolution or a shorter video.
