The initial download size of the Picsart app is around 300 MB. Over time, different features and files can increase the total size of the app on your device.
If you notice that Picsart is taking up a lot of storage, try these steps to reduce the app size:
Clear the cache of the Picsart app. You can also try clearing the Google Play Store cache.
Reinstall the app. This removes extra data and restores the app to its default size.
Note: If the Recent Projects option isn’t active, uninstalling will delete your draft projects.
If you use the Draw tool, the app size might increase significantly. This often happens due to improperly compressed files—especially when working with a lot of images, high-quality photos, or large canvases.
To fix this, you can recompress the files by finishing your draft:
- Tap the + button and swipe to find your draft projects.
- Open the draft.
- Complete and save or share the project.
Once you’ve done this, the app should automatically reduce in size.
This process will clear stored files and can help reduce the size of the app.
